Elite Staffing Solutions was formed in January 2015 by owner and MD Emma Warren. This marked a return to recruitment following a number of years in the insurance industry. It was her previous insurance role that introduced her to the veterinary sector, where she spent years engaging with veterinary practice owners and managers. By combining these two areas of experience and expertise Emma committed to delivering a first-class recruitment service, with all the specialist veterinary insight to significantly improve the customer outcome.
Since 2015 Elite staffing Solutions has gone from strength to strength and won a number of awards, both regionally and nationally. In 2019 Emma was named Female Entrepreneur of the year, in recognition of her success to date. She accredits this to maintaining the required values and work ethic to deliver the customer proposition and service she and the team so fervently believe in.
Elite Veterinary Staffing Solutions is also proud to be working with the British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA). This partnership further enhances the belief in, and champions, the contribution made by non-clinical staff in veterinary practices. By driving and raising standards the whole veterinary community stands to gain, culminating in the delivery of the highest quality animal medicine and welfare.

Emma Warren
Managing Director
Emma launched Elite Staffing Solutions in January 2015 in order to bring a fresh new approach to recruitment within specialist sectors. Emma is passionate about providing the highest level of service to clients and candidates and acting with integrity and transparency.
Born and raised in Somerset, Emma commenced her career within the insurance industry working for a UK leading Private Medical Insurer. Having relocated to West Sussex she spent over 5 years working for a highly successful, independent high street recruitment agency and progressed from Commercial Resourcer through to Branch Manager and was one of their most successful consultants. Following a move back to Somerset in 2010, Emma returned to work in General Insurance where she became part-Diploma qualified and developed and managed a team of Account Executives and Account Handlers. Emma worked with veterinary, dental and GP practices throughout the UK dealing with both their insurance needs but also in creating and managing their monthly health plans giving her a broad understanding of these markets.
Emma enjoys bringing new people into the recruitment industry from relevant backgrounds and training them according to the Elite values.
Outside of Elite, Emma is wife to Alastair, mum to 5-year-old Martha and 3 year old Harry so has become an expert juggler! Emma is also a Board Director of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce and enjoys working with other local businesses. Emma also has two cats Teddy and Delilah!

Adam Hiscock
Recruitment Consultant
Adam joined the team in January 2019 following a highly successful career in the insurance industry where he specialised in working with veterinary practices for the past 11 years. Adam is very experienced in providing exceptional service to clients and remaining calm in any situation! Adam will be bringing his skills to the veterinary division, sourcing high calibre candidates and supporting practices through their recruitment process.
Adam is husband to Carrie and has a son called Archie, 2 rabbits Boris and Marmite and a cat called Mickey. In his spare time, as well as being an active family man Adam or ‘Dave’ as he is affectionately known likes amateur dramatics, badminton, fishing, photography and still finds the time to support Liverpool FC.

Olivia Alderton
Clinical Veterinary Recruitment Consultant
Olivia joined the Elite family in January 2023. Her venture into veterinary recruitment follows a 5 year career as a Veterinary Surgeon in Dorset. Olivia utilises her vast experience in the veterinary industry to assist and coach her veterinary candidates through the recruitment process. She also works closely with veterinary practices to find clinical members of staff to complete their teams. Olivia and Adam work alongside one another to provide the whole package of clinical and non-clinical veterinary recruitment services.
Outside of work, Olivia is wife to Alex and Mummy to 1 year old Rupert. Despite being chronically sleep deprived (!), she enjoys reading, running and walks on the beach with her young family. If she isn’t doing these things you will find her on the sofa, obsessively rewatching episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. Ex-racing greyhound, Puck, is the final member of the pack and has fully embraced his retirement from racing life- spending approximately 95% of his time asleep.

Shelby Mulholland
Clinical Veterinary Recruitment Consultant
Shelby joined the Elite family in February 2024. She brings a wealth of experience with a nine year career as a Veterinary Nurse. She has experience in first opinion and referral practices, as well as non-clinical work including: lecturing, insurance and case management for a virtual veterinary hospital.
Shelby utilises her vast experience in the industry to assist and coach her veterinary candidates through the recruitment process. She also works closely with veterinary practices to find clinical members of staff to complete their teams. Shelby, Olivia and Adam work alongside one another to provide the whole package of clinical and non-clinical veterinary recruitment services. She is committed to facilitate growth, success and strong relationships of both candidates and veterinary practices.
Outside of work, Shelby is a passionate and outdoorsy person, who loves exploring in nature, paddle boarding, hiking and walking; accompanied by her loyal fluffy companion Nellie.

Janet Litton
Financial Controller
Having moved to Taunton, Janet joined Elite Staffing Solutions at its formation as the Financial Controller. Janet is fundamental to overseeing the company’s financial matters and the smooth running of the office, enabling Emma and Sophie to focus all of their efforts on their client and candidate needs.
Janet has spent her working life in accounts and book keeping. For some years she supported her husband in running a very successful business in Yeovil before selling in 1991. She spent a short time enjoying some time off before deciding that she needed to get back to work and was Administration Manager for a large local nursing home until a change of management when she decided to go back to college and do a Higher Diploma in Administrative Procedures. Following this she joined a local accountancy firm and became AAT qualified by experience after working in accounts and taxation for many years.
Janet and her husband David are heavily involved in their local Baptist Church, love looking after their growing brood of grandchildren and in their limited spare time enjoy caravanning and walking their border terrier.
