Position: Clinical Nurse Lead (RVN)
Location: Surrey
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
This is a dual-role position encompassing both clinical and administrative duties. As Clinical Nurse Lead, you will:
- Manage a team of 15 nurses, providing leadership, wellness support, and guidance on professional development.
- Conduct probation reviews, performance appraisals, and oversee CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and career progression.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating with veterinary surgeons and triaging patients.
- Support the Head Nurse in team management and be a key contributor to overall team wellness.
Note: You will not be responsible for scheduling rotas.
Hours:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week) inclusive of lunch breaks.
- Working hours alternate weekly between:
- 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Requirements:
- Proven senior nursing experience, ideally in a leadership or Head Nurse role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for patient care and the professional development of your nursing team.
