Role Overview:
As a Digital First Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), you will be integral to this practice, performing all aspects of veterinary nursing with confidence and competence. You will receive additional in-house training to further develop your skills in our digitally led world. This role is primarily practice-based but will also involve supporting our remote team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day running of the practice, including reception, consultation, surgery, and inpatient care.
Handle admits and discharges efficiently.
Oversee the daily running of the kennel area, laboratory, and diagnostic procedures.
Prepare patients for procedures and assist in the operating theatre.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth delivery of patient and client care.
Manage practice administration, including insurance claim forms and accurate updating of clinical records.
Monitor anaesthesia during procedures and assist the vet in both surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Lead nurse clinics.
Attend practice meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a clean and tidy practice, including general cleaning duties.
Liaise with customers and clients, resolving complaints or queries politely and effectively.
Work with internal colleagues and departments to foster a successful team environment.
