About the Role: As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional veterinary care. We’re seeking a skilled all-rounder with at least 5 years of experience to join our dedicated team. With a focus on maintaining the highest standards of service, you’ll provide comprehensive veterinary and nursing care to our beloved animal patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations, surgeries, and other veterinary procedures with precision and care
  • Collaborate closely with our team of vets and nurses to ensure optimal patient care
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Occasionally travel to Winlaton branch for holiday cover
  • Participate in weekly vet meetings and monthly journal clubs to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 year’s experience as a qualified Veterinary Surgeon
  • Strong surgical and medical skills, with proficiency in various veterinary procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a close and supportive team environment
  • Working 9-6 schedule, however can be flexible – 4 days per week, with occasional Saturdays (1:4) for consulting 9:30am-12
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of veterinary care and client service
