Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, including 1 in 4 weekends and bank holidays or 1:8 for part time.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our inpatients, with a focus on advanced intensive care when required. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our wards, maintaining a clean and efficient working environment, and upholding the highest standards of infection control.

You will be providing exceptional inpatient care to patients undergoing pioneering orthopaedic and neurological treatments, offering you the chance to work with a variety of complex cases and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients, including advanced intensive care as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and veterinary care assistants to ensure the smooth running of the wards.
- Maintain a clean and efficient working environment with a strong focus on infection control.
- Deliver anaesthesia, surgical, and diagnostic nursing care to patients in preparation, theatre, and post-operative areas.
- Care for patients with a range of conditions, providing exceptional post-operative care.
- Participate in the 12-week induction training scheme, with ongoing support through quarterly one-to-one meetings and yearly appraisals.
- Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities, including internal lectures led by nurses for nurses.
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a passion for providing advanced inpatient care.
- Forward-thinking, empathetic, and able to demonstrate exemplary teamwork.
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- No previous referral nursing experience required; enthusiasm and dedication are essential.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, with the option of a 5-day week (8-hour shifts) or a 4-day week (10-hour shifts).
- Part-time opportunities are also available.
- Participation in a 1 in 4 weekend rota and bank holiday rota is required.
